Convocation : Actor, Director Smt. Revathi confers Diploma to Acting and Editing students.
From Smt. Revathi’s convocation address:
‘Cinema needs the presence of more women in its technical and creative segments. Film institutes should work for it….’
‘Those who are into cinema should not confine themselves to their role of activity. Each of them should take efforts to gain definite knowledge about all aspects of cinema. Such a thing would simultaneously enhance the quality of individual contribution and that of the film in total….’
‘Waiting for big opportunities might become detrimental to the professional interests of beginners. Efforts should be made to become part of anything good and where there is a space to contribute. The process of growing big should be something which all needs to study, and this could be achieved through analysing the professional history of icons of the period.
